Life at John Knox Village

Our LifeCare Program

The Only Continuing Care Retirement Community in the Rio Grande Valley

John Knox Village is a Continuing Care Retirement Community that provides a LifeCare program. What does that mean for you? A Continuing Care Retirement Community provides the accommodations for independent living, assisted living, and nursing home care, offering residents a full continuum of care.

The John Knox Village LifeCare commitment promises comprehensive care for you as you age and your needs change — from independent living to assisted living to the possibility of more long-term care in our Health Center.

Independent Living

You live independently in the main building apartments, townhomes, garden cottages, or patio homes of your choice.

Assisted Living

Our Personal Care Unit offers residents the independence of living in a residential setting, combined with the security of knowing that help is available when needed.

At John Knox Village in Weslaco, we take great pride in offering our residents an option that combines freedom and independence with personal services and caring attention. In this special setting, residents have all the comforts of home, with private suites, nicely appointed activity areas, and a tastefully decorated dining room.

Permanent Transfer to an Assisted Living Unit
